Zvi Aharon is an Israeli contemporary artist whose intuitive painting practice emerged during a period of loss, upheaval and recovery.

He begins without a predetermined subject. Movement, color and emotion come first; figures, faces and symbols emerge during the act of painting.

His work moves between figuration and abstraction, darkness and light, pain and hope, isolation and connection.
